England Rocks...
This week our Key Stage 2 pupils are taking part in the Nationwide tournament on TT Rockstars. Pupils can play for up to 60 minutes per day, between 7.30am and 7.30pm, to score points. Who will be the winning class and top scoring pupils?

Great North Maths Hub - Mastery Maths
Ms Hassan came into school today to look at our mastery maths teaching and learning in Year 1. The children were using manipulatives to represent addition stories. She was really impressed with the Y1 children and their ability to use key vocabulary to reinforce their conceptual understanding. A super lesson to be part of. Thanks to Ms Hassan.

Year 5 have been enjoying a range of activities all related to Maths. We have been developing strategies to help us win games, exploring coding and discussing how maths plays an important role in helping us make sense of things everyday.
