Great Outdoor Art Challenge

Congratulations to Esme in Year 5 who won the Y4-Y6 Great Outdoor Art Challenge.  We have received £100 vouchers for an art supply company and £400 worth of Art Teaching Resources for the school.

I am still astounded at the quality of work produced during this 'lockdown' competition.  All entries can be viewed below as we have them all displayed in our junior corridor exit.

Year 6 World War artwork.  We used black card and chalk.

Year 6 studying Monet and designing their own poppy pictures with chalks.

Year 3 and 4 Art Club exploring tints, shades and tones to create sunset and silhouette pictures.

Year 1 have enjoyed making shades using different colours. They have also recently been studying Pop Art and Andy Warhol.

Reception Class are always keen to be involved in art and craft activities.
