Residential - Borrowdale

Year 6 had a fantastic time on the annual residential to Borrowdale.  We hill walked all the way up to Castle Cragg, rock climbed, canoed on Derwent Water, ghyll scrambled (which was the most popular activity). All in all the children and staff had a fabulous time.

DISCOVERY MUSEUM - NOVEMBER 2021

We had a great day at the Discovery Museum in Newcastle, learning about World War 2 and the Blitz.  We found out about rationing and evacuation.  We also had the honour of meeting Prince Charles, who was visiting the museum, and a few of us were able to talk to him about which school we came from and what we enjoyed most in school.  Then we were interviewed by Tyne Tees Television and were lucky enough to be on the news.  The children came across extremely well and represented the school brilliantly - they were a credit to our us and to their parents.  Well done Year 6!
